Stage 3 students are permitted to ride their bikes to school providing bicycles are in full roadworthy condition and the students obey the rules of the road.
In Term 3, Year 4 students may ride their bikes to school after they have obtained their bike licence earned through participation in the Bike Safety Program conducted during Term 3. Bicycle inspections are made from time to time by members of the Safety Accident Section of the Police Department. Students whose bikes are found to be faulty are given notices and the bikes are not to be ridden to school until faults are remedied and inspected.
